How to Fix Snapchat Solar System Badge Not Showing

Snapchat made the Friend Solar System opt-in by default. Even if you pay for Snapchat+, the planet badge will remain hidden on friendship profiles until you manually switch it ON in your Snapchat+ feature management settings.
4 Step Checklist to Restore Your Planet Badges
1. Enable the Feature in Snapchat+ Settings
Go to Profile > Snapchat+ Management > Scroll down to "Solar System" > Toggle ON.
2. Confirm Mutual Best Friend Status
The planet badge only shows up on friends who are in your top 8 contacts list (or when you are in theirs). If you haven't snapped frequently enough to crack the top 8, no planet badge will appear.
3. Update to the Latest App Version
Older Snapchat client builds may fail to render the dynamic WebGL planetary animations. Ensure your app is updated via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
4. Clear Snapchat In-App Cache
Open Snapchat Settings ⚙️ > Account Actions > Clear Cache > Restart the app.
